BIOGRAPHY:

Faten Baroudi is a Ph.D. student, a research assistant and Holmes Scholar in the Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Education Department at Rowan University. Her research interests are about addressing equity for linguistically and culturally diverse students, multilingualism/multiculturalism, and language policy. She received her Masters degree in English Language Teaching from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus in 2017 where her Master’s thesis was entitled “Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) in ELT Classrooms”. She holds teaching certificates in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). She has taught k-12 in Tunisia, and Turkey and speaks Arabic, French, English and Turkish.
