BIOGRAPHY:
Ugo Rossi is professor of economic and political geography at the Gran Sasso Science Institute, in L’Aquila, Italy. He specialises in the study of urban politics and the critique of urban and regional political economy and planning, using fieldwork methods of research. His academic work has appeared in several journals of geography and urban and regional studies. He is also the author of (with Alberto Vanolo) Urban Political Geographies (2012), Cities in Global Capitalism (2017), (with Sami Moisio) The Urban Field (2024) and the co-editor (with Theresa Enright) of The Urban Political (2018). He sits in the editorial board of Dialogues in Urban Research.
