BIOGRAPHY:
Marta E. Ostovich is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Archaeology at Boston University and Assistant Director of Boston University's excavations at Torre d'en Galmes, Menorca, Spain. Her research interests include archaeological heritage management, cultural tourism, landscape studies, and the archaeology of the western Mediterranean. For the past ten years, she has been working as a teaching assistant and excavation and laboratory supervisor at the department’s field school on the island of Menorca, Spain, excavating a domestic complex from the Iron Age through medieval period. She has conducted fieldwork in Greece, Italy, and Spain. From 2005-2011, she served as an Editorial Assistant at the Journal of Field Archaeology.
