BIOGRAPHY:

Carol Peng is a doctoral candidate at the University of California, Berkeley School of Social Welfare. Her dissertation research examines the role of public health policies in facilitating mental health service utilization in China. Ms. Peng has been a three-year fellow of the Council on Social Work Education/National Institute of Mental Health Minority Fellowship Program. She is also a recipient of the 2013 Pamela and Kenneth Fong Graduate Student Fellowship for her research in China. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, Ms. Peng served as the Deputy Director of Research at the Asian American Federation of New York. Ms. Peng earned a B.A. in Social Welfare and Psychology from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University.
