BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Abdulhadi AL-Ajmi is the Vice Dean of Art College and Professor of History Department at Kuwait University. His most recent book is Political legitimacy in early Islam, which was issued by the German publishing house KG & VDM VERLAG 2009. His publications also include the articles "Historical Documents of the Early Islamic Eras" on the book of AL- Qasim bin Salam "Ketab AL-Amwal," which was published in periodical at the Faculty of Arts (December 2009; Kuwait University); "The Attitude of Some Muslim Clerics Towards the Deportation of Cypriot and Fighting Them in the Era of Harun Al-Rashid (170-193 AH / 786-809 AD)," a historical analytical study published in the Arab Journal of Human Sciences magazine (Summer 2009; Kuwait University); "A Methodical Study of the Orientalist Skeptical Thesis about Islamic History and its Most Important Sources," published in Historical Facts Magazine (Jan 2006; University of Cairo); and "Abdullah bin Khazem (72H-691AD)," an analytical study of the struggle dimension on power in the conquered countries and the Khurasan model (AL-Yarmouk Research Magazine; Yarmouk University). His most recent article "The Examination of Isnād Validity in Early Islamic History Sources" was written with Muhammed El-Sharawy and appeared in Anaquel de Estudios Árabes (2010; Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
