BIOGRAPHY:

Robin M. Brown is a specialist in the archaeology, history, and geography of southern Jordan in the medieval periods. She also has extensive experience excavating at Bronze Age and Iron Age sites in Israel, Jordan, and Syria, in addition to experience at sites from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods in Jordan. She was the ceramicist for the Central Moab Survey, an archaeological project directed by J. Maxwell Miller then of Emory University in the United States. Dr. Brown’s publication record reflects her wide range of experience as well as her specialized research in the land of southern Jordan.
