BIOGRAPHY:

Michael J. Raven is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Victoria and Affiliate Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Washington. He co-founded the Canadian Metaphysics Collaborative and is co-chief editor of its associated journal Metaphysics. His research interests span metaphysics, philosophy of language and mind, and epistemology. His research has been published in various journals, including American Journal of Philosophy, Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Canadian Journal of Philosophy, Noûs, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, and Philosophical Studies. He is also the editor of the Routledge Handbook of Metaphysical Ground. He holds a PhD and MA from New York University and a BA from Reed College.
