BIOGRAPHY:
Bobby Boxerman is a doctoral student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. His principal research interests include spatial and network analyses of neighborhoods, the collateral consequences of incarceration, perceptions of offending, and public policy. He is currently working for Beth M. Huebner on the St. Louis County MacArthur Safety & Justice Challenge to reduce the jail population in St. Louis County through policy and systems-level change. His master's thesis examined the effect on crime rates from the legalization of recreational marijuana in California and he is currently conducting research on differences in survivability of firearm assaults between neighborhoods.
