BIOGRAPHY:

Kimberly L. Barrett is an Assistant Professor of criminology in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology at Eastern Michigan University. Her research interests include green criminology, environmental crime and justice, and youth public health issues. She earned her Ph.D. in criminology from the University of South Florida, where Kimberly’s conducted her doctoral dissertation research exploring the association between hotspots of lead (Pb) and crime across the city of Chicago. Her recent publications have appeared in the Journal of Crime and Justice, the British Journal of Criminology, and the Journal of School Violence.
