Morena Anamali is an M.A. graduate from the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University. Her work examines adolescent substance use and delinquency. More specifically, her work has been directed towards understanding the immediate context of the earliest phases of involvement with substances - initiation of use. The immediate context includes how, where, and by whom adolescents are exposed to substances, first time substance offers, and the most important factors that influence the transition from a first offer to actual use.
