BIOGRAPHY:
Diğdem Soyaltin is an assistant professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin, a Master of Science in European Affairs from Lund University and Master of Philosophy from Central European University. Soyaltin has worked as post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Turkish Studies at Stockholm University, a research fellow at the Research College on Transformative Power of Europe (KFG) in Berlin, guest researcher at Lund and Bilkent Universities, project assistant at Exeter University, and intern at Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS). She is an editor at the Center for Policy Analysis and Research on Turkey in London and acting as a consultant in projects conducted by Council of Europe and Transparency International on fight against corruption and rule of law in Turkey. Her research interests are Europeanization and its theories, public sector governance, EU enlargement policy, EU–Turkey relations, Turkish politics and fight against corruption policies in Turkey.
