BIOGRAPHY:
Phillip writes on transnational private regulation and its consequences on the enforcement of labour and environmental law. He studied at Utrecht University and Oxford University’s Centre for Socio-Legal Studies and obtained his PhD at the Tilburg University Law School. His research interests concern transnational legal theory, legal sociology, environmental law, labour law, and sustainability. Phillip is a board member of the Dutch Association of Law & Society (2016-) and a founding member of the Translocal Law Collaborative Research Group supported by King’s College London.
