BIOGRAPHY:
Bogdan State is currently a PhD Candidate in Sociology at Stanford University, where he is supported by the Joan Butler Ford Stanford Graduate Fellowship, and by the Kellogg Graduate Fellowship. He is interested in the nexus between Social Psychology and Economic Sociology, which he is pursuing from the perspective of computational methods. His current research focuses on trust, which he is investigating in a comparative study of the United States and Romania, as well as in a study of CouchSurfing.org.
