BIOGRAPHY:

"Jasneth Mullings is a 2013 PhD Epidemiology graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus where she has been employed for the past 10 years. She also holds a Masters in Public Health MPH (Health Education/Health Promotion). She has worked in various capacities at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus where she has been involved in designing and implementing epidemiological studies and adolescent reproductive health and community-based health intervention programmes. Jasneth has received specialist training in Reproductive Health and Development (Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population & Reproductive Health) and Health Systems Strengthening and Systematic Reviews (Canadian Society for International Health/PAHO/UWI). Her research spans community health and health systems research and interventions, with a more recent focus on urban health, where she is examining the health effects of neighbourhood structural and social processes in the Jamaican population. Dr. Mullings is currently assigned to the Health Research Resource Unit, Faculty of Medical Sciences as an Epidemiologist/Research Scientist, where she is supporting the expansion of the Faculty’s research programme. "
