BIOGRAPHY:

"Jane Momoh earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in human foods and nutrition from the University of Houston- Main Campus, Houston, Texas in 2008. She went on to earn a Master’s of Science degree in nutrition science from Texas Woman’s University- Houston center, Houston, Texas in 2010. Currently, she is earning a Doctor of Public Health degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas with an expected graduation year of 2014. Jane Momoh’s work experience ranges from a graduate research assistant responsible for managing a weight management project with the Texas Prevention Institute at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, to serving as a senior nutritionist for over a year with the City of Houston Department of Health and Human Services. Miss Momoh has a passion for improving population health through healthy nutrition especially in low-income communities. Her career interest is in developing and implementing child nutrition programs aimed at decreasing childhood obesity rate. She is also committed to community engagement, leadership development, and new ways to make our community a better place for all. "
