BIOGRAPHY:

Danielle Macpherson obtained her BAS with minors in neuroscience and political science at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She recently volunteered as a research assistant at the University of Toronto in the Office of Global Public Health Education and Training and is currently the Team Lead for the Solace Health Client Experience Team at TerrAscend Canada. Her academic and research interests lie in the broad realm of global health with specific interests including communicable diseases; ethics and human rights; pediatrics in global health; global health programming for emergency relief, development, and sustainability; and global health education. She is currently volunteering to help plan the 2019 Toronto Thinks Global Health Case Competition which will be held by Juxtaposition Global Health Magazine and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
