BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Christopher Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Educational Theory and Practice at Montana State University – Billings. Prior to joining the faculty at MSU-B, Christopher served as a research associate with the National Center on Scaling Up Effective Schools, and fellow with the National Center for Research in Policy and Practice. Through his work with both centers, Christopher has spent years studying the dynamics of research-practice partnership, research and data use in district and school decision making, and the use of improvement science to promote continuous improvement in educational organizations. In addition to publishing articles on these topics in journals like Teachers College Record, Education Policy, and AERA Open, Christopher’s work has been featured on Education Week’s Urban Education Reform blog, and the Fordham Foundation’s Education Gadfly.
