BIOGRAPHY:

Megan Rauch Griffard is a PhD student in the Policy, Leadership, and School Improvement department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research areas include improving schools and school systems and educational inequality. She is part of a research team at the Education Policy Institute at Carolina that investigates the factors that influence how schools and school districts respond to student and community needs following hurricanes. Prior to UNC, Megan worked as a teacher and school administrator and in public policy at the state-level in Nevada. She holds an M.Ed. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and an M.S. from Northwestern University.
