BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Kim Hoffman has more than 15 years of experience conducting rigorous academic research and the evaluation of public health and community-based programs in diverse settings throughout the world. She is a senior researcher at Oregon Health and Science University and a member of the Fulbright Specialists Roster. She has received funding from the U.S. National Institute of Health, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Faster Forward Fund as a Principal Investigator. Dr. Hoffman currently leads and has lead numerous international program evaluation projects including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Treatnet project. She as served as a Senior Fellow at the Peruvian National Institute of Health and conducted numerous consultancies for other Peruvian Ministries and organizations. Dr. Hoffman received her PhD in Urban Studies and her BA in Women's Studies from Portland State University. She has published numerous peer reviewed articles, book chapters, technical reports and a book. Topics studied include organizational improvement, capacity development, health and health services and community based programs. Her expertise includes short term or large scale/multi-year studies using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods.
