Currently residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ashley is passionate about research, especially that which focuses on marginalized groups, health issues, and disparities. She graduated from Chatham University in the Spring of 2013 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies. In addition to her academic requirements, her time at Chatham was spent working with Dr. Peggy Stubbs on research related to menstruation as a vital sign as well as helping to research and co-author the entry on menarche and menstruation in adolescence for the Oxford Bibliography website. She is a current member of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research and hopes to continue participating in research that focuses on menstruation in adolescence as well as across the lifespan.
