BIOGRAPHY:

James Green received his PhD in Developmental Psychology in 1979. His research focuses on both communication and social development in infancy and on quantitative research methods, especially observational methodology and units of analysis. He has been involved in infant cry research for more than 30 years. He is now Professor of Psychological Sciences and Department Head at the University of Connecticut.
