BIOGRAPHY:

Dr Tony Eaude was a primary school teacher and the headteacher of a first school in Oxford, UK, before completing a doctorate at the University of Oxford. Since 2003, he has worked as an independent consultant and author, mostly in areas associated with the education of young children. A particular interest has been children’s spirituality and he has written several articles for the International Journal of Children’s Spirituality, for which he is the Books Review Editor. He has also been a prominent member of the International Association for Children’s Spirituality for many years. Among his recent published books are ‘New Perspectives on Young Children’s Moral Education’, ‘Developing the Expertise of Primary and Elementary Classroom Teachers’ and ‘Identity, Culture and Belonging: Educating Young Children for a Changing World.’ More details of Tony Eaude’s work can be seen at www.edperspectives.org.uk
