BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Mark Folse is currently the Class of 1957 Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the United States Naval Academy where he’s teaching Navy and Marine Corps history and working on his manuscript entitled The Globe and Anchormen: U.S. Marines, Manhood, and American Culture, 1914-1924. He has published in Marine Corps History, Naval History, War on the Rocks, H-War, and the Journal of Military History. Dr. Folse is also a Marine infantry veteran (2002-2006) with service in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
