BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Jonathan Fennell is a Reader in Modern History at King’s College London. Jonathan was awarded a Doctorate in 2008 in History from the University of Oxford after completing a History and Politics Degree at University College Dublin (2002). He is the author of two books, Combat and Morale in the North African Campaign: The Eighth Army and the Path to El Alamein and Fighting the People’s War: The British and Commonwealth Armies and the Second World War, both published by Cambridge University Press. He is a Director of the Sir Michael Howard Centre for the History of War and President and Co-Founder of the Second World War Research Group.
