BIOGRAPHY:

Katy Doll earned her MA in U.S. History from Indiana University (IU) where she is pursuing her PhD in U.S. History with a focus on culture, war, and society. Her research explores the changing U.S. practices of overt psychological warfare from the Korean War to the Vietnam War. Her research and writing have been supported by the IU History Department, the IU College Arts & Humanities Institute, the Hoover Institution, and the Truman Library Institute. Her teaching includes courses on Propaganda in the Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries and the Vietnam War. She also holds a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
