BIOGRAPHY:
Margaret George is an independent scholar. She has an MA in Art History (2018) from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Her academic focus has been architectural history culminating in a thesis on contemporary architectural design housing the homeless population in St. Paul, Minnesota, “Redefining the Sacred: The Intersection of Catholic Charities’ Program Model and Socially Conscious Architecture.” Her most recent scholarship focused on the World War II internment site at Drancy, France. She continues to pursue academic research relating to art and war, sacred space, and French medieval history.
