BIOGRAPHY:

Katarina Mihailović is currently enrolled in the Film and Moving Image Studies PhD program at Concordia University in Montreal. She has contributed to Studies in Eastern European Cinema, Kino Kultura and the forthcoming anthology Dušan Makavejev: Sex, Ideology, Montage, edited by Vadim Erent and Bonita Rhoads (Litteraria Pragentsia, 2013). Her research focuses on Yugoslav post-war film culture and the Black Wave specifically, post-war cinematic modernism, the relationship between film theory/criticism and film practices, and transnational film studies.
