BIOGRAPHY:

Peter Lev is Professor Emeritus of Electronic Media and Film at Towson University, Towson, Maryland, USA. He is the author of five books of film history and co-author of an anthology on film adaptations of literature. Research on his latest book, "Twentieth Century-Fox: the Zanuck-Skouras Years, 1935-1965," was partially funded by an Academy Scholars Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Professor Lev was for many years Treasurer, then Secretary, of the Literature/Film Association. He received a B. A. degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and Master's and Ph. D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
