BIOGRAPHY:

Benjamin van Loon is a freelance writer, independent scholar and communications professional living in Chicago, IL. He has been published across a wide range of mainstream, trade, academic and creative media, and from 2011 to 2014 he served as the co-founder and publisher of Anobium, an independent literary publisher. By day he works as a communications manager for an economic development agency, specializing in public relations, content strategy and marketing. He holds a masters degree in communications, media and theater from Northeastern Illinois University, where he was a Distinguished Student Speaker and awarded the Library Award for Excellence in Research.
