BIOGRAPHY:
Margarita Robles is Professor of International Law at the University of Granada, and Master in Comparative, European and International Law of the European University Institute of Florence (Italy). She has completed training and research in the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the Western European Union. She has published several monographs on European law (in particular, "The control of foreign policy by the European Parliament", "The WEU and European cooperation on security and defense") and coordinated two monographs on gender and security: "Gender, Armed Conflict and Security" in 2012 and "Comprehensive Approach to Gender Perspectives in Operations" in 2013. She has published several articles on foreign policy and security policy, the competences of the European Union and the coordination of national policies of its Member States, including the Open Method of Coordination. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the University of Granada.
