BIOGRAPHY:

Gino Naldi, LL.M, Ph.D (Birmingham, UK), is currently an independent scholar specialising in Public International Law and International Human Rights. He spent thirty years as an academic in higher education in the United Kingdom. Dr Naldi has established an expertise in International Law as it relates to Africa, focusing on the Organization of African Unity/African Union. He is author of The Organization of African Unity: An Analysis of its Role (2edn, Mansell, 1999) and co-author, with Professor Konstantin Magliveras, of The African Union: Institutions and Activities (Kluwer Law International, 2014). He has published widely in learned journals such as the African Human Rights Law Journal, the African Yearbook of International Law, the Indian Journal of International Law, the International & Comparative Law Quarterly, the Leiden Journal of International Law, the Nordic Journal of International Law, and the Zeitschrift für auslandisches öffentliches Recht und Volkerrecht.
