BIOGRAPHY:
Faustin Zacharie Ntoubandi, PhD is Course Director in the Department of International Studies at York University – Glendon College, Toronto. Prior to joining York University, he was Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (Heidelberg) and Lehrbeauftragter in public law, international law and European law at the Justus-Liebig University of Giessen, Germany. He has also taught at a number of institutions, including UNICRI (Italy), the Université de Bretagne occidentale, the Université de Paris II Panthéon Assas (France) and the University of Wisconsin in Madison (USA). His work focuses on international law, including human rights, the law of armed conflicts (international humanitarian law) and international criminal law. He has acted as a consultant to the United Nations and is the author of Amnesty for Crimes against Humanity under International Law (Martinus Nijhoff Publishers 2007).
