BIOGRAPHY:

Kathy Rees is currently in the Writing-Up stage of her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. The title of her research is: ‘Reading Gosse’s Reading: A Study of Allusion in the work of Edmund Gosse’. Her thesis also addresses the work of Philip Henry Gosse (1810-1888) and Emily Bowes-Gosse (1806-1857). Kathy was formerly a British Council officer administering British Aid programmes in Eastern Nigeria, then a teacher of Art History and English Literature, plus occasional lecturer for NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies). Research interests include Victorian and Edwardian literature, intertextuality and allusion
