BIOGRAPHY:
Dr Megan Girdwood is Lecturer in English Literature, 1880-1940 at the University of Edinburgh. She is the author of Modernism and the Choreographic Imagination: Salome’s Dance after 1890 (Edinburgh University Press, 2021). Her articles have appeared or are forthcoming in English Literary History, Modernist Cultures, the Journal of Modern Literature, and the Irish Studies Review. Her current project, Kinaesthetic Modernism: Writing the Sense of Movement, 1880-1940, will be supported by a Leverhulme Research Fellowship in 2024-25.
