BIOGRAPHY:
Gary Grieve-Carlson is Professor of English at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. He has won awards for excellence in teaching at three colleges and was a Fulbright Junior Lecturer in the Federal Republic of Germany. He is the author of Poems Containing History: 20th-Century American Poetry’s Engagement with the Past (Lexington, 2014), and his essays have appeared in such journals as Clio, The New England Quarterly, Paideuma, The Dalhousie Review, Amerikastudien, Mississippi Quarterly, Modern Language Studies, and Renascence.
