BIOGRAPHY:

Jennifer M. Nader is an Instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico in 2014, where she was a Managing Book Editor for American Literary Realism. She has taught courses in composition, argument and research, technical communication, expository prose, genocide, early and later American literature, and world literature both at the university and community college levels. She is honored to have been both nominated for and the recipient of awards for excellence in teaching. Her reading, research, and publication interests include multi-ethnic American, Caribbean, Post-Colonial literature, and African literatures. Her projected future projects promise to focus independently on Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl (1861) and The Country of the Pointed Firs (1896). She is currently co-authoring a scholarly collection of Paul Laurence Dunbar’s literary letters.
