BIOGRAPHY:

ANNE K. PHILLIPS is Professor of English at Kansas State University. With Gregory Eiselein, she has co-authored several articles and co-edited four books about Louisa May Alcott, including The Alcott Encyclopedia and the Norton Critical Edition of Little Women, as well as a special issue of Women's Studies on "The Newness of Little Women" (2019). With Christine Doyle, she co-edited Children’s Literature, volume 34 (2006), an issue dedicated to scholarship on Alcott. With Miranda Green-Barteet, she co-edited Reconsidering Laura Ingalls Wilder: Little House and Beyond (University Press of Mississippi 2019). Eiselein and Phillips recently curated a year-long blog on Little Women for the sesquicentennial of its publication. Phillips currently serves as President of the Louisa May Alcott Society.
