Jay David Miller is the 2021 ACLS Carl and Betty Pforzheimer Fellow in English and American Literature. He earned his PhD in English from the University of Notre Dame. His articles have appeared or are forthcoming in Early American Literature, Religion and Literature, and The Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography.
