BIOGRAPHY:

Nicholas Ruddick is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Regina, where he taught science fiction, novel-to-film adaptation, late nineteenth-century literature, and fairy tales, among other courses. He is the sole author or editor of ten books and many chapters and scholarly articles on subjects from Atwood to Zola. His most recent books are The Fire in the Stone: Prehistoric Fiction from Charles Darwin to Jean M. Auel (Wesleyan University Press, 2009) and Science Fiction Adapted to Film (Gylphi Ltd., 2016).
