Stuart Sillars is Professor Emeritus is Professor of English Literature in the University of Bergen, with earlier appointments in Cambridge, the USA and elsewhere. As well as on Shakespeare he has written extensively on literature and fine and popular art, with including with books and articles on the two world wars, popular fiction and other topics.
