BIOGRAPHY:

Edwin N. Njonguo is a Ph.D. student in International Conflict Management and teaches Understanding Peace and Conflict with the Interdisciplinary Studies Department at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA. He has published with the International Journal on World Peace, and is a member of the scientific committee of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference. Edwin’s dissertation research examines how power dynamics in the international geopolitical system impact prosecutions before the International Criminal Court. At the same time, he is working on other research projects, including investigating how scholarships awarded to foreigners in the U.S. fit into the brain drain, and greater migration narrative, with interest in where the “beneficiary” scholars feel the need to make remittances, when they do. His research interests include transitional justice, alternative dispute resolution, conflict resolution and management, international organizations and counter-terrorism, peacebuilding and (un)constitutional political power change across Africa. He received a B.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Buea in Cameroon, and an M.A. in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University, Maryland, U.S.A.
