BIOGRAPHY:

Soon Ang (PhD University of Minnesota) is Goh Tjoei Kok Chair and Professor in Management at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is also founding Executive Director of The Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence -- the world’s first research center in Cultural Intelligence. A multiple-award winning researcher, Soon Ang pioneered and co-authored two foundation books on Cultural Intelligence (Stanford University Press). She has also created and validated a series of multi-media intercultural situational judgment tests for assessing and developing CQ. Soon Ang received prestigious awards at the Academy of Management, Association of Computing Machinery, Association of Information Systems, Decision Sciences, and Human Relations. Her papers have appeared in Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Management Science, Organization Science, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and others. Soon Ang recently received the Walter F. Ulmer, Jr. Award from the Center for Creative Leadership, for outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of culturally intelligent leadership.
