BIOGRAPHY:

Jane Chong is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia, where she is completing her dissertation in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Her research interests include newcomer socialization, motivation, and volunteer research. In particular, her current research is concerned with distinguishing the effects of different newcomer experiences on people’s motivational orientations towards their work, and subsequent engagement and well-being outcomes. She enjoys teaching statistics, motivation, self-determination theory, and other organisational behaviour topics. Outside of psychology, Jane also has a passion for baking and travelling the world.
