BIOGRAPHY:

Annapoornima M. Subramanian is an Associate Professor at the Industrial Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM) Department, National University of Singapore (NUS). She earned her Ph.D. in Management of Technological Innovation from NUS Business School. Her research examines how firms’ internal and external factors affect their innovation performance. As a principal investigator, she has led projects funded by National Research Foundation Singapore and Ministry of Education that have examined the effectiveness of technology policy in Singapore as well as factors that influence firms’ innovation performance. Her research has appeared in journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, IEEE-Transactions on Engineering Management, Technovation, Journal of Technology Transfer, Long Range Planning, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, and Research-Technology Management. She is an editorial review board member of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
