BIOGRAPHY:

Sandhya Balasubramanian holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) from the Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She earned her MBA from UMass Lowell and her Master of Commerce and Master of Philosophy degrees from the University of Madras, India. She currently serves as Assistant Dean of Academic and Corporate Program Development in the Division of Graduate, Online and Professional Studies, University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her research interests include entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial universities, new ventures and team performance. She has published in the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and Frontiers of Entrepreneurship. Sandhya has presented at several national regional and national conferences, received the best paper award for entrepreneurship in 2015 and outstanding reviewer award in 2017 at the Eastern Academy of Management Annual Conferences. She currently serves on the editorial board of the South Asian Journal of Business Studies.
