BIOGRAPHY:

Natasha is a PhD candidate in the Department of Ethnic Studies at CU Boulder with an area of focus in Geography. Her dissertation research aims to understand how Indigenous political, cultural, and environmental histories informs Indigenous land stewardship efforts to protect the health of the community and Indigenous knowledge. Her ongoing community-based research is concerned with the dynamics of tribal sovereignty which focuses attention to the articulations of tribal natural resource management and how that relates to Indigenous ways of knowing and being in the world.
