BIOGRAPHY:

Dr Susan Lowish is Senior Lecturer in Australian Art History at the University of Melbourne. She has published widely on the critical reception of Indigenous art, rock art, and the uses of new technologies in cultural heritage preservation, management and re-engagement. She recently published her first monograph, Rethinking Australian Art History: the challenge of Aboriginal art (2018), in the series ‘Studies in Art Historiography’ edited by Richard Woodfield (Routledge, New York and London).
